Hello everyone! If your reading this, you probably attend my high school or are a close friend of mine. If not, wow thats cool!


anyhow, I'd like to take some time to explain what this deviant account is.

For my Senior Independent Project, I've been taking art classes. drawing from the figure, to be exact, from a local college. Along with that, i plan on drawing and writing a complete comic over the course of the next 2/3 months. Crazy, right?? about ten weeks at the most to write and create a full length comic book.

which means 10 weeks in which i have to be pretty good at art.

i've spent the previous half of this year working to attempt to bring my rather poor artistic skills up to par. to be honest, they havnt really changed that much... ok ya they have, but... it doesnt feel like it. so basically, ive gotten better, but not much. So heres the nitty gritty of everything of why i'm making this account.

I NEED PEOPLE TO TELL ME IF MY ART SUCKS AND WHAT I NEED TO FIX. ITS REALLY IMPORTANT! IF SOME BODY PART ISNT RIGHT, IF SOME LIGHTING THING IS SCREWED UP... FOR THE LOVE OF GOD ON HIGH PLEASE TELL ME!!!! its hard trying something new, and without critiques and commentary (i like to hear when i've done something right, too) an artist has alot of trouble improving.


so, what do i draw?

i draw people, alot. girls mostly- i like the female form. its much prettier and curvier and all those lovely things.
i also draw alot of animals.

things i need to work on-
backgrounds!! (omg O.o)
color consistency
men (in general- they all tend to look girly -.-)
clothing
lighting

what you should be looking out for in my art-
continuing characters, character relationships, and use of black and white. also, my female characters tend to be very well defined and drawn.
